Read on for their experience getting married at our award-winning Melbourne wedding reception venue.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u200bAnthony and I first met in 2012 at school when we were in Year 9.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We were together for 9 years before he proposed to me.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n During the weekend of our nine-year anniversary, Anthony told me he had reserved a table at Ponyfish Island on the Evan Walker Bridge, but it turned out he had made that up just to get me there.<\/p>\n After checking into our hotel at the W Melbourne, we walked to the bridge and as we reached the middle, Anthony began to make a speech about our love. Anthony then handed me a padlock with our initials inscribed and explained that the bridge we were standing on was Melbourne\u2019s love lock bridge.<\/p>\n As I went to secure the padlock onto the bridge, I turned it around and saw \u2018marry me\u2019 written on the back. After locking it and tossing the key into the water, Anthony was on one knee with my engagement ring in his hand.<\/p>\n I was completely taken by surprise because I had planned out the whole weekend. It added a layer of excitement and emotion to our ceremony, and witnessing Anthony’s expression as I walked down the aisle towards him is a memory that I’ll cherish forever.<\/p>\n We were so glad that we waited, as it made that moment even more special and meaningful for both of us.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n While all our suppliers were great, the ones who stood out the most on the day were our photographer, Dawei, and videographers, Scott and Dee from Bright Light Weddings<\/strong><\/a>.They were incredibly passionate about their work and captured our special day perfectly.<\/p>\n We also want to give a big shout out to our VIP Host Mel at Bramleigh Estate<\/strong><\/a>.
