Sienna & Joseph

Sienna & Joseph held their stunning wedding ceremony and reception at Bramleigh Estate in April 2026.

When and where did you both first meet?

We first met back in 2017 in our hometown. We played for the same soccer club and saw each other most weekends. We started off as just friends for about 6 months and started getting closer and talking all the time. Then we finally started dating.

How long were you together before you got engaged?

We got together when I was 17 and Joseph was 21. Babies!! We were together for about 7.5 years before Joseph finally proposed!

Tell us about the proposal! Did your partner suspect anything?

I did not suspect a thing! We travelled to Thailand on a holiday in January, 2025. Joseph had designed the ring himself and secretly brought it with him to Thailand. For the first few days of the trip, he kept it with him 24/7.

We both love the ocean so one morning we went to Long Beach in Phi Phi Islands and he asked to take a photo in front of the ocean (which he never does). I did not want to because we were both hot and sweaty from walking, classic me, but he kept on insisting.

So he asked one of the only people on the beach to take a photo of us, but what I didn’t know is that he secretly told them to record us. Just as we were ‘taking a photo’ he got down on one knee and proposed on the sand.

We then spent the rest of the day FaceTiming family and friends, enjoying the beach, sun and our little bubble. It was perfect!

What did you love about having your ceremony onsite? Did you wait to first see one another down the aisle or did you consider a first look?

The staff at Bramleigh were amazing and made everything run smoothly for timing and transitions. The ceremony flowed smoothly into canapés and then into reception.

The deck was the absolute perfect setting for what we were looking for in our ceremony. We wanted an outdoor, intimate and personal ceremony. Another bonus of having our ceremony onsite was that we were able to take photos with the beautiful scenery and not have to travel, which allowed us to maximise our time with guests and enjoy canapés.

We chose to do a first look because it worked best with our timeline. We wouldn’t change a thing. In fact, we highly recommend it! Seeing each other before the ceremony instantly put us both at ease and made us even more excited for the day ahead. It gave us a quiet, intimate moment to soak it all in before the celebrations and chaos of the wedding began.

Who were your favourite suppliers on the day and why?

All of our suppliers were amazing. We chose to do something a little bit different and have a tiramisu cake and tower immediately after the ceremony. The Travelling Tiramisu brought our vision to life! It was an absolute crowd favourite!!

We also need to give a special mention to our photographer Bright Light Weddings. They shoot beautiful photos (as you can see on this page!) and were very professional to work with, we would highly recommend them!

Looking back on your wedding day what was the best part?

It is crazy because so many people tell you that the wedding day goes so fast, and it does! But looking back, there were so many amazing moments it’s hard to decide.

For me, it would have to be when I walked down the aisle towards Joseph. I can’t even describe the feeling. When I got to the end I loved that our celebrant stood to the side so we got to face the crowd. I remember looking out to the crowd and seeing all my family and friends’ faces. Just knowing that everyone was there for us was a moment I’ll never forget!

Joseph’s favourite part of the wedding was our first dance. It was so special to finally take a breath and dance together to the song we chose. After many, many nights of silly practices, fails and laughs, our dance turned out perfectly!

Another favourite part of the day for us both was when we entered reception and all of our guests rushed to the dance floor and got the party started!! Definitely would recommend!

What tip would you give to anyone planning a wedding? And also, a tip for the actual day?

One tip I would give to anyone planning a wedding is try not to worry about what anyone else thinks. It’s your wedding day and nothing else matters! A tip for the actual day is to soak in every moment and try to stay with your partner the entire time! Spend as much time together as possible because the day goes by so fast.

How has married life been for you since the big day? Did we honeymoon anywhere exciting or is that coming up/on the cards?

Wedding life has been amazing! We are continuing to set up our house, which is so exciting. We also just got back from our honeymoon to EUROPE! We travelled to Switzerland, Lake Como, Liverpool, Sicily, Tropea, Puglia and Mallorca!!
