Warm, energetic and endlessly organised, Steph is one of the friendly faces couples may meet throughout their Bramleigh Estate journey—from their first venue tour and planning appointments to the coordination of their wedding day, couples love wedding specialist Steph’s genuine approach and calming nature.

Steph’s connection with Bramleigh Estate began in 2014 when she completed work experience with us while studying event coordination. Her natural ability to connect with people, combined with her genuine passion for weddings, was quickly recognised—and she has been a valued member of the Bramleigh Estate team ever since.

Over the years, Steph has supported countless couples in a variety of roles, including VIP hosting, wedding coordination and sales. Today, as one of our Wedding & Events Specialists, she helps couples transform their ideas into thoughtfully planned, beautifully executed celebrations.

We recently sat down with Steph to learn more about her role, her journey into the wedding industry and the busy family life she enjoys away from Bramleigh Estate.

What is your role at Bramleigh Estate?

As a Wedding & Events Specialist, I guide couples through many different stages of their Bramleigh Estate experience—from site inspections and early planning to final coordination and bringing everything together on the day.

My role is very hands-on, and no two days are ever the same. I might be showing a newly engaged couple around the Estate, helping another couple refine the details of their wedding or working alongside our coordination, operations and kitchen teams to ensure an upcoming celebration runs beautifully.

I get a real buzz from meeting people. I love being social and connecting with couples and families from all different walks of life. Seeing their excitement while planning their wedding—and then watching everything come to life—is incredibly rewarding.

How did your journey at Bramleigh Estate begin?

I first came to Bramleigh Estate in 2014 to complete work experience while studying event coordination. I was then offered a position and have been involved in weddings ever since.

Before moving into events, I studied pastry and wedding-cake decoration, so weddings had already become an area I was passionate about. Joining Bramleigh Estate gave me the opportunity to explore another side of the industry and discover how much I loved working directly with couples.

I began by supporting weddings as a VIP host and gradually moved into coordination and sales. That experience has given me a strong understanding of the entire wedding journey—from the initial enquiry through to the final moments of the celebration.

What do you love most about your role?

I love that every couple is different. Each has their own story, style and vision for the day, so every wedding feels completely individual.

It is lovely to spend time getting to know a couple, understanding what matters most to them and then helping them make choices that feel right. There is something very special about seeing all those conversations, decisions and carefully considered details come together as one beautiful celebration.

For me, creating a memorable wedding is not simply about how everything looks. It is about how the couple and their guests feel throughout the entire experience.

What is the most challenging part of wedding coordination?

Last-minute changes can be one of the most challenging aspects because life happens, circumstances change and sometimes plans need to be adjusted quickly.

That is when flexibility, communication and attention to detail become especially important. Our coordination team works closely with our operations and kitchen teams, keeping everyone informed and ensuring each change is managed calmly and efficiently.

Before every event, we meet to review the final details and discuss how the day will unfold. From timings and guest requirements to styling and venue presentation, every element is considered.

A beautifully coordinated wedding should feel effortless to the couple and their guests—even though an enormous amount of planning and teamwork is happening behind the scenes. That is the standard we set for every Bramleigh Estate celebration.

How would you describe your favourite wedding style?

I love organic, elegant weddings with simple styling and a soft, neutral colour palette. This refined, understated look is becoming increasingly popular again, and it works beautifully at Bramleigh Estate.

The Estate offers such an elegant foundation for a wedding, but it also allows every couple to make the space their own. Some choose to keep the styling natural and minimal, while others build upon it with florals, colour and statement details. I always enjoy seeing how each couple interprets the venue in a way that reflects their personality.

What advice would you give couples planning their wedding?

Focus on what genuinely matters to the two of you and try not to become overwhelmed by everything else.

It is easy to get caught up in small details, outside opinions and the pressure to make every element perfect. Thoughtful planning is important, but so is remembering why you are celebrating.

When the day arrives, take the time to pause, look around and soak it all in. Everyone says the wedding day passes quickly—and it really does. Try not to let a small detail distract you from the joy of the experience. The most memorable moments are often the ones you did not plan.

What does life look like away from Bramleigh Estate?

Life outside Bramleigh Estate is just as busy! I live on a 26-acre property with my family, including hubby, three children, three cows and a horse.

There is always something happening and always something that needs to be done, but I love having a full and active life. I had always dreamed of living on a property surrounded by animals, so in many ways, I am living that dream.

Between family life, the animals and the ever-changing jobs around the farm, no two days are ever the same—which probably suits me perfectly.
